Today I want to holler about the Setting Brush by Real Techniques. This is one of my favourite brush among the other Real Techniques brushes I have. 🙂
It is a slim, tapared synthetic hair brush which I find very useful for setting concealers, especially around the eyes. The pointed end helps to reach small corners and it’s very important for me to set concealers properly in this humid weather to prevent melting down my eyes. Not a pretty sight…
I also like to use it to dust Meteorites finishing powder on oily-prone areas such as T-zone, forehead, nose and chin. 🙂 The picture below is a tub of Meteorites in travel size. The cardboard packaging sort of looks dodgy after some use… booo!
When I travel, I like to take this Setting Brush with me because it’s small, and I like to do spot-setting instead of whole face. I also use this Setting Brush to apply highlights on my cheekbones. But this is quite rare as I wear minimal makeup when I’m not at work.
So I think that this little brush is quite multi-functional as:
1. Powder Brush (duh!)
2. Highlighting Brush
3. Travel friendly
If you don’t already owned any powder brush, try this.
